Privacy Policy
The short version: we ask for the few things needed to make your order and get it to you. We do not sell it, we do not advertise with it, and you can have it deleted by asking.
What we collect
When you send an order request, you give us:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- A delivery address, if you want it delivered rather than picked up
- What you would like, how much, and the date you need it
- Anything you write in the notes — an occasion, an allergy, directions to your door
That is the whole list. If you email or call instead, we have whatever you chose to put in that message.
What we do not collect
No card or bank details. This website cannot take a payment, so it never asks for one. Payment is arranged directly with you after your order is confirmed, away from this site.
No accounts and no passwords. There is nothing here to sign up for.
Why we have it
To make what you ordered, to reach you about it, and to bring it to the right address on the right day. Your notes are read for the same reason — an allergy written in that box changes what goes in the box.
We may email you about your order. We do not send marketing email, and you are not added to any list by ordering.
Who else can see it
Brenda. Two services carry the information to her and nobody else:
- Airtable — where order records are kept, so an order is not lost in an inbox.
- Email — the notification that an order has come in.
Those companies handle the information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for anything else. Beyond them, we do not share, rent, trade, or sell your information to anyone. There is no advertising network attached to this site.
We would hand information over if the law required it — a court order, or a lawful request from law enforcement.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no analytics or tracking pixels. We cannot see who you are, and we are not counting your visit.
Our host keeps ordinary server logs, the same as every website — the page requested, the time it was requested. They exist to keep the site running.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept so we know what we made for you and when, which is genuinely useful the second time you order. If you would rather we did not, say so and it goes.
Getting a copy, or having it deleted
Email orders@sharkeylicious.com and ask. We will tell you what we have, correct it, or delete it. No form, and no explanation needed.
The one thing we cannot delete is a record we are required to keep — a payment record already in the books, for instance. We will say so if that applies to you.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection, and the services above are password-protected with access limited to Brenda. No small business can promise a system is impossible to break into, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Children
This site is meant for adults placing orders. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their information, email us and it will be deleted.
Links to other sites
If we ever link somewhere else, that site has its own privacy policy and we are not responsible for it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than slipped in quietly.
